I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 in early May 2022 which is right after Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I was devastated by the result. All this while, I was very careful with the sugar intake. I don't really drink a sugary drink. I prefer black with no sugar for my coffee. I chose plain water over a sugary drink. My homecooked food with no sugar added. Why? Why? The Doctor's explanation was easy, your parent may have diabetes. This is inheritance. I was like...Duh!!!! I prefer monetary inheritance rather than bad genes. 


The doctor said not time to be too upset over this. I give you 3 weeks to reverse this since you are confident, that you are leading a healthy lifestyle. No medication will be prescribed at this moment. Please come back for the test again in 3 weeks' time. 
So...this is like, I was given a second chance? God Bless!


I went back home with a sworn to do a very strict diet. At the same time, I read there is an Ayurveda method to drink curry leaves powder with warm water in the morning. Immediately, bought the curry leaves powder to try out.


How do I reverse Type 2 Diabetes in 3 weeks' time?



1. No rice - I change with quinoa and barley. From time to time and for craving sake, I opted for Konjac noodles.


2. Ditch coffee (I cheated only 3 times) - I drink plain water most of the time.


3. Eat more raw vegetables - salad, cucumber. No starchy vegetables such as potato or sweet potato


4. No fruits 


5. Eat more nuts for snacking


6. Drink 'Misai Kucing Tea' for dinner


7. Drink Curry leaves powder in the morning


I also make sure my homecooked with no oyster sauce, soy sauce or any sauces which may contain sugar. I only use a bit of salt , black pepper and cinnamon for seasoning.


I went for the 2nd blood test and urine test last Friday and the result was superb. I was cleared with Diabetes Type 2. Horayyyyyy!!!!!

Another simple explanation from the Doctor on the result. She said , I might overdid feasting the Raya cookies during recent Hari Raya celebration. I was like...WTH! Well, she might be right on that statement. huhuhuh


Anyway, I was so happy with my success and continue to watch out in what I eat until today.


Well, regret to break the news, I am still having another issue with my health. This time the bad cholesterol. The Doctor said, my Bad Cholesterol reading is too high and high chances it will lead to cardiac arrest. So sad with this news. This is also a problem on why, I have not been losing weight despite my exercise routine and diet. My blood vessel is blocking all over. This explained my body pain and so on. The Doctor said, this time I can't avoid the medication.


I was given 2 months time to watch out my diet while taking that medication. I am currently at week 1 and will update my progress result in 2 months time.

Yes. I am struggling to stay healthy and keeping fit. Ageing gracefully my foot! Very ambitious indeed!

My Plantar Fasciitis getting bad after return down to KL from Genting short weekend getaway recently. I guess my backpack load too heavy and stress up my heel so much.
