Vegreen Vegan Skincare Review

Vegan skincare

I still open to discover new skincare ven after taking a long break from being a beauty blogger. I was recently approached by a Korea skincare brand Vegreen

The brand name itself is a great words combination which everyone can guess the main ingredients.

Vegreen reached me with Eco-friendly packaging and best of all products are cruelty free.

Vegreen Fragrance-Free Cica Serum

The serum is formulated with 70.7% of Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Panthenol (pro vitamin B5) and Sodium Hyaluronate.

The listed ingredients are totally safe for even sensitive skin and children.

Product claimed:

  • Antioxidants
  • Anti-inflammatory help calm and soothe redness-sensitive skin
  • Keeps skin barrier at bay while if provides skin regeneration.
  • Deeply hydrate and protect skin

How to apply Vegreen Fragrance-Free Cica Serum?

Just pump out 1 - 2 times and pat lightly on clean face after toner day and night.

Applying Vegreen Fragrance-Free Cica Serum for 2 weeks kind of pleasant for my skin.

As usual I did a patch test on hand skin. The texture isn't greasy and sticky at all. Very lightweight on skin and easy to absorb.

No smells at all since this is a fragrance free serum.

Vegreen Intensive Vitamin C 20% Ampole

This ampoule is a waterless formula which helps  to stabilize the product.

Loving the fact it contains the star ingredients Ascorbic acid 14% and Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether 6% (derivative of Vitamin C). My second time using a skincare with these ingredients. Absolutely the best, if you have hyperpigmentation skin. I tried before it helps to fade out my hyperpigmentation and also brighten skin tone. On top of that, they add in Chamomile to protect from oxidative stress and help with fine lines.

How to apply Vegreen Intensive Vitamin C 20% Ampoule?

Apply one to two drop on well cleanse skin. Then gently massage until the ampoule fully absorb. Make sure to moisturize skin well and apply sunscreen with good UV protection.

Personally, I only apply this ampoule during my night time skincare routine.

This ampoule texture aren't the same like the usual ampoule I have used before. Vegreen ampoule kind of a bit greasy oily but easy to to spread on skin. At first a bit disturb with this kind of texture. But somehow it doesn't take long to absorb into skin and pleasant smooth skin feeling.

It has a slight light citrus pleasant smell. I recommend to do a skin patch test first before start using vitamin C product. So far , I don't experience irritation skin.

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream

If you are searching for a good moisturiser, look no further... This is the one you should be looking at. Even the name is brilliantly created. At first , I was wondering why is the 730 comes about on a tube of moisturiser. But then , I read it interpreted as moisturiser are meant to apply 2 times a day. We have 365 days in a year. So, 365 x 2 = 730. Genius!

The star ingredients for this moisturiser is vegan squalane. If you are an avid skincare, you must be fully aware on what benefits it does to skin. For those who don't know. Squalane  helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Soften skin and helps the dehydration.

I guess there is no need to talk about how to apply this on skin. 😌 Just make sure to apply SPF right after when use in the morning routine.

The texture is super light and easy absorptions. I'm not sure about anyone else, just there is a noticeable smells on this moisturiser. Nothing bad though!

I have been applying Vegreen 730 moisturiser cream for 2 weeks now. The most noticeable my skin texture become more plump and radiant.

Loving the fact moisturiser comes in a tube. So hygienic and easy to dispense out the right amount of moisturiser.

I love the fact that I tried Vegreen products.

  • Vegan
  • Certified clean beauty
  • Safe to use for whole family
  • Cruelty free
  • Sustainable packaging

I have a pleasant experience trying out vegan skincare.

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...
