In 1790 the Dutchman found ruins  this hillside plateau with a view to Mount Merapi behind Prambanan Temple complex and this site is once grand palace belong to Ratu Boko after King Boko of local folklore. This is more like of king from local dynasty. Totally ruined ... I paid USD10 just to view this all collapsed stones and building. Well since I am one person who love history so much..... I walk with a feel on what had happened on that same ruined site previously..... feel eerie.... hair on your neck straight up and coldness on the killing and war at the same sight once...... what am I babbling about now.... guess got carried away and tried to describe my feeling when I walked through Ratu Boko... not so famous and not recommended but I insist the driver to bring me there. Ratu Boko site is at atop a hill and a system of drainage trenches and water storage ponds was developed to maintain water supply. stiff staircase you need to climb out .... not the mentioned ...

2nd day trip to Prambanan Temple The largest Hindu Temple in Indonesia and is quoted as one of the largest and most beautiful Hindu Temples in Southeast Asia. The Majestic Temples - moral of the story when you going for trip please avoid holiday time. I experienced this in Beijing where all the tourist attraction is full with local people. There are some restoration of this temple in progress.  The temple built to honor Lord Shiva. Too bad the Lord Shiva temple is not accessible like others, where we could climb up the stiff staircase and have the feel of the story and also view and touch the status in the temple. The statues and the ruins become the theme and inspiration for Loro Jonggrang Folktale which then this temple become related to Ratu Boko site. ...

When I was on the way to Hotel , the driver mentioned to me on this Ramayana Ballet Show. Since my agenda only start the next morning, I decided to check out the Ballet Show... fully ready before going down to wait for the car to pick me up from Hotel...fresh face you see here.... Waiting for car at lobby.....  Suppose to watch the show at open theater near Prambanan Temple but end up at Purawisata due to the show at Prambanan cancelled  with IDR160,000/person you could enjoy the show at this open air theater near Purawisata  Nice place add some fee you could enjoy the dinner before the show.... well I am not in the mood to eat dinner that night There goes the show Ramayana Ballet is a Javanese Dance performance.
